With Videos at the end of each location~ :D
Off in the background, that tower is known as the Namsan tower, or the N Seoul Tower, or the CJ Tower. But just calling it the Namsan Tower is good enough. The tower is located on Namsan Mountain in the heart of Seoul and, like pretty much all famous towers, has a very expensive restaurant at the top. There is also a viewing deck which lets you look out across the cityscape. The surrounding mountain areas are popular for hiking and nature viewing as well. There is also an area called Locks of Love where visitors buy locks, write messages and lock them with other locks, then throw the keys over the balcony edge. Can be seen in the video below~
In the area surrounding the Hongik University, known as Hongdae, many shops, bars, restaurants, and clubs can be found.

This area is extremely popular for the younger crowds and is always bustling with university students who spend a lot of time in the area.

At the end of the post will be a short clip showing one area in Hongdae from TheSeoulGuide.com.

The Banpo Bridge crossing the main river running through Seoul, the Han River, is one of many bridges. However, unlike all the other bridges, this one is unique in that is has a water fountain and lights show which depending on the time of year, is scheduled to be performed.
Banpo Bridge Rainbow Fountain is the world’s longest bridge fountain. The fountain is programmed to play different shows during the day and night. All of the water is used directly from the river so the water is constantly being recycled.
The COEX Mall in Seoul is a very, very large underground mall that houses everything from little boutiques to an Aquarium!

It is located in Gangnam, which is considered to be one of the more bustling and modern areas of Seoul. Many young people spend their time in Gangnam and by watching the video at the bottom of the page you'll get a close up view of the mall. (Filmed by Michael Arnold, who has spent quite a lot of time in Korea and has even appeared on TV shows there. I always like watching his videos because I always find new places I want to go see.)
I would also like to go visit King Sejong in Gwanghwamun Plaza which also is home to the Gwanhwamun gate, main gate to the Gyeongbok Palace mentioned in my earlier post. This plaza enshrines not only King Sejong, credited as being the man who created the Korean Writing System (An alphabetical system like our own English Alphabet, called Hangeul), but also has a statue in honor of Admiral Yi Sun-shin, one of Korea's national heroes. The video at the end of the post goes into great detail about both figures. Also at the end, you can see the gate in the background behind King Sejong's statue (the one pictured here).
The gate known as the Great East Gate, or more commonly called Dongdaemun Gate, first built in 1398. This was the eastern gate in the walls that surrounded the city during the Joseon Dynasty, just like the Namdaemun gate was the southern entrance.

This gate is located in a traffic heavy area but is considered quite beautiful and amazing to see after dark.
I really recommend watching all of the Youtube videos completely through so that you can really get to see what all is so fascinating and interesting about each of these destinations~ <3 Well, you can probably just skip most of the Rainbow Fountain one as the guy answers his phone and keeps talking in Korean the entire time, but other than that, all the videos are great to watch! And I tried to find ones that were informational as well~ :D
