iStockphoto! iStockphoto! Where for art thou, iStockphoto!

Well if you've been to my "My Photography" page, you've probably noticed that I like taking photographs. Albeit of many plants and nature and not as many of people, and definitely not professionally. After years of constant encouragement from my family, I have finally gotten to the point where I'm willing to try freelancing. Now, if any of you've ever heard/been to/ or bought images from iStockphoto, you know the site is pretty legit.

Just to purchase the pictures (and other media) on their site, you have to sign agreements and the what-not. But to be what they call a "contributor", ie. someone who uploads their photos to the site to sell, you have to read their manual and then take a test to see if you were actually paying attention. Though it takes like 30 minutes to an hour to actually read the entire thing, the questions aren't all too difficult assuming you actually read carefully. Sounds like my college classes. After passing this text you are required to upload 3 of your photos to be reviewed and determined whether or not you have the creative and artistic ability and are of the caliber they demand for their site.

I, having only just finished the test and uploaded my photos for review, am now waiting to hear back on whether or not I have passed. If I do, I will be able to upload more of my photos (assuming they are acceptable) and will, hopefully, make some money. I don't think I'll make a lot (assuming, of course, I am accepted), but I might be able to make enough that it is notable? Like $100 dollars? Well, who knows how this will turn out, but in any case, at least the prospect of making money is enough to make me move me ass and get to working. (Ahhh, the qualms of young, indebted adulthood~)

Updated with videos~~ :DD
At the top of my list of places I wish to travel to: Seoul, South Korea.

This is a city which I have dreamed of visiting for many years now. Once I have the money, I will be coming here ASAP. When that happens I'll be taking pictures and videos of everything I encounter!!
After I have made it to Seoul, one of the top attractions I want to visit will be Gyeongbok Palace, or in Korean 경복궁.

This palace was built during the Joseon (조선) Dynasty. It was also the largest of the 5 Grand Palaces: Changdeok Palace (창덕궁), Changgyeong Palace (장경궁), Deoksu Palace (덕수궁), and Gyeonghui Palace (경희궁).
